Pointe-du-Buisson is a museum on the banks of the St. Lawrence River, with 20 different archaeological sites within its boundaries. For over 50 years, archaeologists have been excavating and uncovering over 2 million artifacts from many cultures and eras. Beneath our visitors' feet lie 5,000 years of history. Our teams are committed to helping visitors discover the history of these objects, and to bringing back to life the people who came before us. Through a variety of carefully prepared activities, students are immersed in the world of archaeology, Original Peoples and regional history.
Each visit to Pointe-du-Buisson is tailored to the needs of the student group. A team of specially trained animators supervises the students and ensures that the activities run smoothly, in a stimulating and safe environment. Activities include workshops both inside and outside the museum.
